D’Italiano® Italian BLT with Hot Pepper Aioli

D'Italiano® Thick Slice Bread

Original or 100% WW Bread

Makes 1 Serving.


2 slices D’Italiano® Thick Sliced Bread
1 slice fresh or smoked prosciutto
2 tsp mayonnaise
1/2 tsp hot sauce (your favourite)
1/8 tsp minced garlic
1 slice provolone cheese
1/4 cup baby arugula
2 slices avocado
3 slices coloured heirloom tomatoes


Preheat the oven to 375°F.
Place slices of smoked prosciutto on a small parchment-paper lined baking sheet. Bake for 8 minutes or until crisp. In a small bowl, stir together the mayonnaise, hot sauce and garlic. Toast the D’Italiano® bread and spread one slice with the mayo mixture. Top with provolone, baby arugula, avocado, tomato slices and crisp prosciutto. Finish the sandwich, by topping it with the second toasted piece of D’Italiano® bread.
