Ingredients:
Your friends will crash the net to get at this sandwich. 8 slices D'Italiano 100% whole wheat thick bread, butter, 1 1/2 pound inside round roast, 1/2 cup barbecue sauce, vegetable spray, 1 cup fresh spinach, 2 tomatoes, *horseradish if desired, 1/2 cup flour for gravy, salt and pepper to taste.Directions:
Make your own slow cooked beef or use my recipe. Put round roast in vegetable sprayed slow cooker with 1/2 cup ketchup, cook on low about 8 hours. Remove and cool slightly. *Keep juices to make gravy with the flour and salt. Pour drippings into a saucepan, heat until almost boiling, add the flour and salt (shaken up in container with water). Toast bread in toaster and butter bread. Slice beef thinly, put spinach and tomato slices on top. Put top slice of bread on. Pour hot gravy into dipping bowl. Dip sandwich into tasty gravy.
