Ingredients:
1 large onion
7 garlic cloves
1 pickled jalapeno pepper chopped
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
3 tsp. Chipotle hot sauce
3 tsp. smoked paprika
2 tbsp. tomato paste
2 tbsp. Demerara sugar /dark brown sugar
2 tbsp. Dijon mustard
½ cup catsup
½ cup white wine vinegar
Salt to taste
3.5 lbs. pork shoulder roast
D’Italiano Original Crustini Buns
Directions:
Put the ingredients in the blender and puree until smooth. Marinate the pork in the sauce overnight.
Put sauce in a large pot plus, add 2 cups of water. Boil and simmer, covered turning frequently for 2 hours until the meat pulls apart easily.
Remove the meat from the sauce and shred into small pieces using fork while reducing the sauce by 2/3.
Add the shredded pork back to the sauce and cook for another 5 minutes.
Fill D’Italiano Original Crustini buns with warm double smokey pulled pork and enjoy!
