Ingredients per Sandwich:
2 slices D’Italiano Original Thick Slice Bread
35 gr Cheese Curds, Cheddar or Gouda
5-6 sundried tomatoes in oil
2 slices prosciutto
2 tbsp mayonnaise
½ tsp freshly ground black pepper
Handful of arugua leaves
Directions:
Preparation:
1-Prehead Panini Press or alternatively, preheat cast iron pan slowly on medium heat.
2-Mix mayonnaise and freshly ground black pepper; put aside.
3-Spread oil from sundried tomatoes on slices of bread.
4-Distribute curds evenly on one slice.
5-Add sundried tomatoes, cut in bite size chunks.
6-Shred prosciutto slices in bite size and add on top of tomatoes. Top with arugula leaves and 2nd slice of bread.
7-Spread half of mayonnaise mixture on top slice, carefully covering all corners and crust edge.
8-Turn sandwich and put mayonnaise-side on hot panini press. Spread rest of mayonnaise mixture on bread slice that is now on top.
9-Lower Panini press cover and cook for 3-4 minutes.
10-Remove, cut in half and enjoy the mix flavors with passion!
