1 BC Gala apple
1 BC Bartlet pear
1/8 cup chopped red onion
1 TBS white balsamic vinegar
60 grams Brie cheese in thin slices
1 TBS butter
1/2 tsp curry powder
2 slices D'Italiano 100% whole wheat bread thick slice bread
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400C.
Peel, core and cube apple and pear. Place in a small ovenproof pan and add chopped onion and balsamic vinegar and mix. Roast in oven for approx 30 minutes.
Melt butter in a frying pan and add curry powder and mix well. Place bread slices in pan to soak up butter/curry mixture then spoon on roasted apple/pear/onion mixture on one slice. Put brie slices on top of the roasted mix and place the second bread slice on top of the sandwich with the butter/curry side out. Grill in frying pan until browned on both sides and the cheese is melted. Enjoy!
