Tarts D'Italiano !

red, yellow, green peppers
ripe tomatoes (fresh or canned)
D'Italiano sliced 100% whole wheat bread
Directions:Dice up all the vegetables and fry them individually. In the same frying pan put some olive oil, and soute' green onions and add tomatoes diced up. Inside the sauce chop some fresh basil and cook it until it gets nice and condenced. Add all the vegetables in the sauce.
Cut some slices of bread in half and put them on a tray ane in the oven to toast them up.
You can serve the veggies on the Crostini or place them on a tray and your guests helps themselves.
