Tarts D'Italiano !

Ingredients:1 loaf DItaliano thick sliced white bread
1 8 ounce pack cream cheese softened
2 tablespoons sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 300 gram tub ricotta cheese
1 pack vanilla instant pudding
3/4 cup white sugar
2 tablespoons cinnamon
1 can cherry pie filling
1 small tub sour cream
Directions:Cut crusts off loaf of bread, put slices on counter on parchment paper and roll slices with rolling pin until flat.
Mix softened cream cheese, 2 tablespoons sour cream, vanilla and egg on low speed of mixer until blended.
Add ricotta cheese and pudding mix and mix on low just until combined.
Using a spatula spread this filling on all the bread slices using all the filling on the 24 slices of bread.
Roll each slice up and dip in 3/4 cup melted butter, then roll in mixture of the 3/4 cup sugar mixed with the cinnamon.
Place seam side down in 9x13 inch baking pan that has been sprayed with non stick baking spray.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
Serve warm with cherry pie filling and sour cream.
Makes 24, these are fabulous! I save the crusts, freeze in a bag and use when I make stuffing.
