Ingredients:
2 Eggs
2 Tbsp Sugar
1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
3/4 Cup Milk
2 Slices of D'Italiano Sesame Seed Bread
1 Banana (peeled and sliced lengthwise)
1/2 Cup Caramel Sauce
2 Strips of Bacon
Peanut Butter Ice cream
2 Tbsp each of Oil and butter
Directions:
*an twist on Elvis Presley's favourite sandwich... for dessert!
-set oven to 350 and bake bacon on tray till done set aside
-in mixing bowl add eggs, sugar, vanilla extract and milk...mix with whip till together.
-dip bread slices in bowl..turn over and let the bread soak up the liquid (30 secs-1 minute on each side)
-non stick frying pan on medium heat add 1 Tbsp of Oil and Butter
-when butter turns frothy, place the slices one at a time (let as much liquid off before you place in pan)
-turn over when the side is nice and griddled (2-mins)
then flip and turn over
-when ready place on plate...in the same pan add the caramel sauce and bananas...turn the heat to low. Simmer for 1-2 mins
-Place Banana beside the French Toast, 1-2 Scoops of Peanut Butter Ice Cream, finish it off with the 2 Strips of Bacon
*if cannot make:
Peanut Butter Ice Cream...purchase your favourite vanilla ice cream scoop out 1 Cup let stand at room temp till soft and mix in 2 Tbsp smooth or Chunky Peanut Butter then place back in freezer till ready to use
