
Tarts D'Italiano !

Ingredients:
1 package of D’Italiano Thick Slice 100% whole wheat bread (or D’Italiano Thick Slice original white bread if preferred)Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Prepare your bread by cutting circles out of 12 slices. This can be done using a large rimmed glass or kitchen scissors. Butter the bread on one side and press bread buttered side down into a muffin tin. Set aside. Beat eggs with cream and salt and pepper. Add remaining ingredients and stir until well mixed. Spoon the mixture into the bread shells by heaping tablespoons. Bake tarts for 20 minutes or until edges look golden brown and filling is firm.
